You probably see Albert Einstein on this picture. However, if you stand up and step 15 feet away, you will see Marilyn Monroe on the same picture.

Step away from your computer screen. You should see the two faces swap over! Come closer to the screen again and they swap again. Spooky, isn't it.

This is a fun optical illusion picture to look at because it constantly playes with your mind. What I like best about this picture is the artist didn't simply paint a picture of an optical illusion, but it is quite an interesting picture in and of itself! If you notice, you'll see that the person on the left is trying to fix the wall which has crumbled with time. They also seem to be painting the columns on the right. This is one of the best optical illusion art examples.

Instructions to view this optical illusion: Just stare at the different rings, and you should see a ton of illusory motion. That means that although there is actually nothing moving in this image, as your eyes scan around the image your brain will make you think that the rings are rotating. If you freeze your eyes and don't move them at all, you can almost get them to stop.

This one is so famous. Turn the picture upside down to see how men see women after 6 beers.

There actually isn't 15 feet for me to walk back to, about 6 feet away is a wall

Anyway it's nothing spooky really, it's just a bit of optical science. It has to do with your lack of seeing certain details from a distance, your long view vision is a different state to when you're close up.
