Hello there,
I want to ask the administrators or moderators really, I have a server that I'd like to advertise but it's not open yet, although the website and forums are nearly finished and would be available within the next few days. Question is, can I advertise an unfinished server? And if so, would it go into Server Advertisements section?
Thank you and regards,

The rules of advertisement rules clearly say you must include an IP.
Also why would you bother to advertise an unfinished server. Most people will not bother to roam a forums for a few days waiting for a server to open they will want it opened already or won't even bother.

You can advertise an unfinished server. I don't see a reason why you shouldn't or can't.

If you are going to advertise an unfinished server, I would wait until a few days before you acctutly open the server. That way people will stay.

Well I don't think people will be like... "Yay let's wait for this server".
I hardly suggest you to wait till the release that and EVEN wait till you get a stable playerbase, because you gotta be sure, taht when they join, it's not empty.

But if you do not mention it's unfinished then they'll probably stay, aslong as its just not a major update thats making the server unfinished.

Basically, I just want to it appear as a kind of pre-advert to what should players expect when the server opens. But I don't know whether it's allowed, and whether rules permit such adverts. That's all.

Yes, of course you can, but there's no point, people won't wait for your server to be open, Its better if you advertise your server when your server's open, that way its much better.
