Get stock GF and start to "know" it

GF is bad for complete beginners, better look at one of the gamemodes that come with the samp server. Lvdm (That was the first script I worked with) or grandlarc. Try to understand what different parts are doing, then change them a bit, compile and check ingame if it changed as you thought it would change. If you roughly got an idea how it works, try to extend the gamemode you choosed with some stuff you would like, not too complex, but something you like. The most important thing is to have fun experimenting with the script, if you just do it because you want to learn how to script at any price, you wont come far.

As Mauzen said, just look at other scripts and see how they work, then try edit them a bit.
