[HELP] I cant get my server online
#1

Hello guys, i have made an server, but i cannot get it online!

I have already done the following things:

Port forwarded port 7777 (first UDP, and then both)
Disabled windows firewall/antivirus
tried re-downloading server

It works on local, but it just stays on retreiving info... any other ideas what it can be ?

You sure the port is forwarded?

Download this portforwardchecker from 'www.portforward.com'

http://www.portforward.com/store/PFPortChecker.exe

It will tell you if the ports are actually open, so see if '7777' is open.

tell me if it works.

I helped him on teamviewer, his router forwarded it correctly on port 7777 to his ip.
Anyways i got exact the same problem since 0.3b is out. So maybe another tip ?

I would use this: http://www.typefish.co.uk/ConnectionChecker/ It's a SA:MP checker which is kinda cooler ^^

Well ion HIS pc (at his IP:7777 instead of local) AND ON MINE offline, its only online at local (which is normal).
But the firewall/antivirus is off, and port is forwarded so i dont get it.

I had the same problem when I changed onto 0.3b. All I needed to do was to edit the ports to something else (i did 7775) and then back to 7777. Worked for me fine..

If that doesn't work, make sure the port forwarding is set to the correct IP. I once couldn't get it to work because my router IP was 192.168.1.3 but I had the ports forwarded for 192.168.1.4

Hope this helps
