ok i know how to range ban but this person it just continually changing his ip,so if i just range ban brazil taking the first ip number like this
187.54.***.*** to
213.22.***.**
would this work or has anyone else got any idea's,he is really beginning to stress admin and players out on the server's(yes he is hacking on 2 of our servers).
any ideas are welcome because i really haven't got any positive ideas yet.

and at least i didnt start swearing like i did earlier when i heard about it lol

It should work, but just remember that EVERYONE in Brazil will be banned, so if you have current players they will be banned too.

Yer i understand that,its not something i really want to do,but this is just getting on my nerves

Trouble is i forget more than i learn lol and the problem is how on earth do i range ban brazil,i have lots of ip's and i dont want to range ban each ip because i will be here till christmas,anyidea's ??

Yer now that would be a good idea,same as the x-box sort of thing,but im am using geo-ip in the gm so im just looking if it is possible to just kick anyone from brazil,it will make it much simpler and more effective than just keep range banning his ip.

when you track a ip it gives you the location of they city/Town or w/e...isnt it possible to ban that town?

This really depends on how smart the guy/girl is, but you could have the server automatically kick the person by name. It appears he always comes in with "Unknown" in his name, so you could just try this under OnPlayerConnect:

He actually comes with "Unknow" without the n so remove the n in the script

Updated. It shows both in the Ban Log but using "Unknow" will kick whether its "unknown" or "unknow".

DarrenReeder not i cant trace his ip to a town or city he is just bouncing around a certain area


randomkid88 and Noss* im am using junkbuster so i can just put his name in the file and it will just kick him as soon as he uses anything like that name,but all he does then is change his name .
