Mac Plugin? (Don't kill me Dx)

Ok, so I know that most of you are all hardcore PC users, but I was wondering, now that Rockstar has released GTA 3 SA and VC for mac, is there any chance you might be making a plugin/app/whatever for it?
When I'm at my dad's house, I play SA:MP on his PC, and I really like it, but I'm usually at my Mom's, and she has Macs, so, yeah.. And I know you can use Parallels and Bootcamp etc, but I was hoping you developer people were making a natively Mac SA:MP.

There's no Linux Client for SA-MP, what makes you think there would be one for Mac? There's no point in the developer(s) going through the hassle of changing probably thousands of lines of code to please just a few users. Bootcamp (and the alternatives) are more than sufficient for running SA-MP.

Although you may not deem my response 'useful', it's pretty much what most other people would reply with. As for a Mac Server, that doesn't sound like a bad idea - but I highly doubt there would be much interest.

Besides, this is the wrong forum. A plugin enabling the ability for the use of SA-MP on another operating system cannot be coded.

Wrong section. This is for Plugin Development, (as the name implies) and you're looking for an actual application.
And as Calgon said, I doubt the SA-MP devs would waste time porting the whole mod to OS X, considering most people are fine playing GTA and SA-MP on Windows.

Yes, I realize now this is the wrong section. It was just a question, I wasn't asking for you to create one from scratch, I just wanted to know if since Rockstar made ports, the SA:MP Dev team would too. I understand your saying they probably wouldn't "Waste their time" on a Mac port, but it wouldn't really be a waste, considering that many people are switching to Mac now because of all the shit that Microsoft produces.
From your reactions I can see that you don't think it would be worth the SA:MP team's time, so I guess I'll just use Parallels or something. But which runs SA:MP better? Parallels or Bootcamp...?

He goes along as "MacOSXFan", making stupid (usually false/incorrect) posts related to Apple products, pretending to know everything.
After you read a few more of his posts, you could probably see how it gets annoying.

Another on-topic comment (kind of) - you would indeed have to rewrite the whole client rather than being able to emulate it, or something like that. The official OS X version of GTA would be completely different to Windows, so even if you could inject the dll as a dylib (probably not possible anyway) into the GTA application, all of the memory addresses which SA-MP rely on would be incorrect.

Many people are indeed switching, but definitely not a large number of the gaming community. (unfortunately )
Boot Camp would be better, because it enables Windows to be dual-booted with OS X, giving you a native Windows installation. Parallels is for virtualisation within OS X, so it'd be much slower.

Yeah, most people that still use Windows are the gamers, which means no games for Mac
And with Bootcamp, I would just use my PC version of SA and SA:MP right? Which would be fine I guess, cause it would mean less money spending for me.. (xD) I had just heard that using it with Bootcamp killed the performance, and when I saw they released some GTA games for mac I got excited, forgetting I would need SA:MP to play online Dx

With Boot Camp, you install Windows onto another partition, then you do exactly as you would on your normal Windows PC. (ie. install SA and SA-MP)
