SA-MP crashes when a vehicle explodes.
#1

I've been playing GTA SA-MP for about 2 months now, and I've never experienced any bugs so far. A friend of mine showed me another GTA multiplayer client; MTA. I played MTA for around 2 weeks, and the lack of fun got to me, so i changed to SA-MP once again. I started out with Cops and Robbers with my friends, but there's a bug which ruins my gameplay. Everytime a vehicle is on fire and explodes, SA-MP crashes, and i get this bug:

I've tried ****** the bug, and I've been told, that i could delete the gta_sa.set file which restores the default settings. If that didn't work out, i could reinstall SA-MP aswell as GTA: SA and see if that worked. So far, I've only been arsed to reinstall SA-MP, but didn't work out.

I had a modded Glendale with improved handling, and i thought, that the Glendale could be the problem, so i deleted the Glendale.txd and the Glendale.dff file aswell as the whole handling.cfg file and reinstalled it again, but again, no luck..

Has anyone had any problems with this bug, and if so, how did you fix it? I might reinstall GTA: SA, but i highly doubt it would fix the problem. I had no trouble with exploding cars in MTA.

BUMP BUMP BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please god almighty someone tell us how to fix this i cannot enjoy my game when i have to deal with crashes all the fucking time!

Im running windows 7 64bit and the singleplayer runs fine and there are no crashes, but on SA-MP it crashes when explosions occur i get the same error report.

I have the us version,i thought it was the EU so i got rid of that but it had nothing to do with the crash.

i have Windows 7 and x64 procesor too..

Test if it hapens in all servers if not then its server faulth - Callback OnVehicleDestroyed/Spawned or smth.

Or probably you need to rename GTA San Andreas Folder to, for example, GTA SAn Andreas 2
Then just reinstall sa-mp to newest one.

I think it may be the game it self. Also when i restart my pc it wont even let me join the server, it shows a loading screen for SAMP and then it gets all black and gives me a crash. This is very very irritating

This is happening to me too, see thread here. The only way I was able to fix it was to format my computer. Uninstalling and re-installing SA-MP didn't work. As you mentioned, single player game works fine. I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

I believe the crash is somehow related to parts of a vehicle being blown off.... specifically, the trunk. In SA-MP scripts, you can set damage for different parts of a vehicle and I've played in a server where you can "smash" a vehicle. It seems that consistently, every single time a trunk is smashed off (so that the truck flies off the vehicle) the client will crash. I believe the same thing is happening when a vehicle blows up... the trunk gets blown off and the client crashes. I don't think it's related to a server script (like a badly written script), but rather a bug in the SA-MP client itself.

I have to agree that this is a really frustrating bug, as it totally ruins the fun of the game. If there is a fix for this, please post!

Thx.
