I need help badly. I have a $1200 gaming laptop that still won't play GTA: IV, but it can play GTA: SA. I just installed SAMP 0.3b with the R2 client, and after I join ANY server, it loads 7/8 of the way then crashes to desktop.

My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium x64, the laptop is only 5 months old. I went to the thread above that is solutions that work 80% of the time for Win7, tried out each and every solution, it still won't work. I even tried using a NO-CD/fixed .exe for GTA:SA, SAMP 0.3b R2 still won't run.

For those who will say "Try re-installing SAMP and GTA: SA", doing that still won't make SAMP run w/o crashing.

Honestly, 0.3a was so much better since it didn't crash on my Win 7 laptop, but now 0.3b has a computer crash chance of 99%.

So can someone please help me with this bad issue? I really want to be able to play SAMP again.

What CPU do you have? You need to se how many cores SA:MP and GTA SA uses to 1 core.

I have an Intel Pentium CPU.

I have no mods. Just a downgrader patch. Admin mode still won't work, even after 5 BSODs.

What are you talking about? It works with with utilizing more than one core.

^no it will not if you have a LOT of cores (like i7 with hyperthreading has 8 cores), I had to do this for my game to work.
