Hello.

I have a little problem. I made a DNS server for SA-MP.
The problem is it always says: (Retrieving Info) in favorites but if I connect with client it doesn't say "Reconnecting bla bla" it works and I can login on my gamemode and play.

How can I solve the problem?
The server.cfg has announce 1 and query 1 and lanmode 0.

Im not sure, no exp in hosting, but I think samp does not support dns services, it only accepts direct ips

it does support DNS, zir.

it does support hostnames (DNS) so if you put in TimesRP.servegame.com:7777 when ever you connect it gets the ip. So your DNS will work. Because before if the ip changed of the dns, users would have to type in your dns again.

It is fully compatible on 0.3b ONLY!

Look: I have created a DNS and forwarded ports etc... The only problem is, the name, players, ping are not displayed in the favorites window. If I connect to the DNS it connects successfully and loads the game mode.

Now my problem is, why don't I see the name, ping, players etc... It only says (Retrieving Info...)<DNS here>

EDIT: The ventrilo server on the same DNS is working perfectly

Any idea?

EDIT2:

Problem solved, wasn't a problem anyhow.
As me being the host of it, seems it's not returning the server details.
But seems other can see it just fine so I'm not worrying.
