Yesterday I started my own server, ravens roleplay gamemode
after a while players where coming... but one of the
players asked me "have you done any scripting?" and I told him "no
I can't script :/" then he told me that I should not have a server because
Icant script and if I did not edit it it was a rip off he
said to me. He told me that noone would enter the server because its a
"copy" Is this true? DO you have to be a good scripter and make your own
server? I really want to have a server... I dont want to wast my time learning scripting
its enough learning in school Is there any scripter out there or any helpful people....
that can help me? If this is true I wasted 1 day portforwarding, downloading gamemode, and samp windows
server pack... Well If I can't run my own server I guess I just apply for beeing a admin on another server...
What should you do and what do you think I will do? Thanks for any answer.

If you want a "popular" server with a decent amount of players, your going to need to do a lot of work to the customization of your server, meaning your going to need to know how to script or pay someone/etc.. So, if you don't got money to pay someone or to pay for a decent server, I would suggest you wait on trying to make a server/etc. until your willing to learn, or at least pay some $$.

Think of it from this prospective: you're a player and you see 3 servers with the same script, one of the servers has 40 players, the other has 2 and the other has 1 - which server would you join? Would you prefer playing with 2 other players?

Pretty much what he said, If you can't script or you can't pay for it to be done or even "pay for the server" for somebody to join your "team" and likely will never get anywhere because lots of servers will have the same script but more advanced and more people will wanna play there than at yours.

Playing on a server is not as fun as controlling one... thats just me.
