hey , i got an big big problem with an SMF forum


i haved an forum on a .info domain for about 1 year , and i buyed an .net domain a few days ago , i changed from the webhost the .info domain with the .net domain (all the files and database are the same)

and now when i enter on site.net/forum i am redirected to .info domain that is expired

i dont know how to fix this

try yourself src-clan.net/forum

Did you also change the forum address in the admin control panel of the forum?

Go to PHPMyAdmin and search for 'src-clan.info' in the SMF forum database, change them all to your .net domain.

As he said but better idea would be to just download your DB instead and search for it likely your settings part and just readd it back with new domain.

This could mean forum lost? Maybe the forum was on .info ...

It's not a SMF problem though, the problem is from your web hosting.

Go to your file manager in your control panel.

Find your forum folder, and then find "Settings.php"! Click to edit the file, and then find the following line;

$boardurl

Now, if you haven't edited it, it'll more than likely read as:

$boardurl = 'http://src-clan.info/forum';

If so, change .info to .net

Код:

$boardurl = 'http://src-clan.net/forum';

You should now be able to access your forum on .net!
