Server Renters Beware(consumer report)

About a month or so ago. i rented a server from SAMP-Servers.com. i also paid for it with month ahead as well. i thought wow more bang for my buck. this hosting company had great ping and no lag. i thought my members and players would be happy with it as we was moving from the old host we had for over a year(cost was more then i wanted to keep paying for). to later find out that this hosting company was merging with a site that i didn't feel my server files would be safe with as the owner of this site was given full control of it with the merge(GPM) as we had problem with this site and some of its members before and still to this date.

So within 24 hours of me telling this to Brant Marshall our server which we rented from them was hacked by a member or ex member of GPM(BAZ). i again went to Brant Marshall over this matter

So i began to look for a new hosting company which i have now started renting from. then one day on a site that has nothing to do with them(samp-servers) or my own clan. we got into a forum fight over some stuff that happened along time ago for which they have no proof of but still clam to have happen to them. this is when Brant Matshall took it on his own to cancel and remove there hosting with us. which they had no right to do since the forum fight had nothing to do with the hosting company that we rented from

I contacted the hosting companies sales people(Brant Marshall). to ask for the money back that i paid for in advance and half the money back for the rest of the month for which he had illegally cancel($26.00). which they refused to refund and replyed with "you have problems with the people we are merging with which isn't our problem" which they now pretty much own the hosting company as everything has been changed to there site name and merged in with there site(GPM SAMP HOSTING).

I have contacted the better business bureau as well as there hosting license company to report them to them. BBB contacted me with "no contact with the owner of SAMP-Servers.com. this report will stay on file with us". i have also been contacted by there license hosting company with "there license is under review as this isn't the first complaint we have had on them for doing this to there customers"

I have here recently has spoken to Brant Marshall about this problem and asked again for a refund on the money that i have paid to them with him saying this to me on MSN

doesn't matter i was still signed up with you guys before you gave it to GPM

we didnt even have a TOS
so thats your own fault

your leaving because of your grudge with GPM is not our fault nor will we take any responsibility, of anything that happened

no brant we didn't leave because of the grudge with GPM. we left because i didn't feel we was safe with your hosting anymore then to be hacked within 24 hours of me telling you we was leaving

no all that means is SAMP-Servers commanded a fraudulent act. which is why your license is under review

but we didnt until you started blaming us for releasing your information which we didnt

Does this to you sound like a good company to be hosting with. to have one of there own employees talk to a customer like he talked to me. this company is a rip off and will cancel your account when they want too and keep your hard earned money. i did a search on the internet just to see if someone else has reported them for being a rip off and guess what i found that they was(http://www.ripoffreport.com/web-host...vers-d629f.htm). i made this for everyone to read as i had a duty to report this to any one thinking of renting from them. BUYER BEWARE

((this topic is and for buyer beware. this topic isn't for flaming or anything else then what it is used for to report a rip off hosting company. note as of today they are pretty much under the control of GPM. GPM is also known for there hackers and doss attacks they do on other servers and hosting companys))

Technically, as they had no terms of service set-up, that's fair enough to get away with, providing that you were reimbursed.

i wasn't and there still refusing to repay the money for the half a month and the other full month that i haven't and wont use now

That applies to U.S. Federal prohibition of your speech. This server you posted on is neither American nor is it controlled by the U.S. Federal government.

i was looking at the right to freedom of speech. more of these consumer report for people that own or have a clan. that spend there own money to pay for something for there players and members to play on needs to be done to help us ALL to keep away from bad hosting companys

If they have no Terms of Services when you signed up. You haven't accepted the tos they got so can't use their Terms of Services on you as you didn't accept them

Other Words: They can't use hide behind your Terms of Services to not refund you. If you paid by PayPal open up a Dispute

This topic completely shows the maturity and respect from SA-MP hosts, and i probably think that serverffs is the best sa-mp host because they haven't messed with anyone and stole scripts, and hopefully serverffs will stay legit and will keep getting good hosts and good services.
