Hey all,

So, I just got a Linux Server, Purchased it from a Data Center. anyway, I installed Cent OS 5.3 with Webmin. Cant seem to port forward. I'm a moderate Linux user how ever, I cant get this to work. I have set all the things I have found in ******, Tried my own code nothing working. Any help is appreciated.

I started SA-MP server, It says it started but I cant connect to it.

Regards,

Milwaukee County Deputy Sheriff Brad.

(You've probabbly already tried to below, just want to through this out there in case you haven't)

Have you allowed the port through iptables?
To see if it's iptables causing the issue you might want to try: service iptables stop
However, only do this for a few minutes to see if this is the cause of the issue, I would highly advise against leaving iptables off.

Hope this helps.

By default all ports are open on iptables, make sure the server is actually running, and it's bound to a valid network address.

External firewall, iptables, or IP address. Could also be just ports 7777 and 7778, I've heard of a few hosts blocking those ports because of the security exploit left by Kloxo/LXAdmin
