Hey guys, I'm Jorge and I just installed San Andreas to my computer. A question, where do I go from here? How do I play with all of you guys? like play teh actual SA:MP?

http://frog.serverffs.com/gtasapatch.zip - Use this to downgrade your game to 1.0, once this is done, download the client from: http://sa-mp.com/download.php.

Once the client is installed, you can go to the internet tab, or the hosted tab, find a server you like, and click the connect button. It may ask you to locate your GTA SA EXE for first time use.

Sorry, I don't understand. that thing where you downgrade it to 1.0 when I install it, it says; "INVALID DIRECTORY" or something. What teh fuck do I do? I just want to be in the game with all of you lot are.

My friend also said, install GTA when it comes up when you put the disc in, then install Director x or something, how do I go back and install Director x?

Did you use the button on the downgrade patch to search for where you installed it to?

We don't all play the same servers, there's thousands of servers out there to play. You need to use the downgrade patch though, cause SA_MP only works with 1.0 EXE.

Re-insert your disk, and the menu will pop up, there should be an option to install Direct X.

right i dont know what the fuck to do its pissing me off, instead of using a bunch of shit... tell me something i want to do to install it. no offence but i'm getting pissed off with it.. im trying everything... but when it comes to that screen in the patcher it cant find my file or anything.
