Well, I'm running windows 7, I installed GTA SA, I applied the downgrade to 1.0 patch, and tried using a CD crack, and the original gta_sa.exe, and it just launches single player when I try to connect. I'm pretty sure I've done everything, but then again I haven't done the whole install for about a year or so.
Any ideas?

You're using the SA:MP client right? Not just double clicking the gta_sa.exe or a shortcut?

Are you sure the downgrade was successful ?

Yes, I'm using SA-MP client, and the downgrader said it was successful, I don't know if it could be wrong or not though.

Check if you have a d3d9.dll in your folder.
If you do try to ****** it and download a new one or download d3d9_40.dll too.
