I'm not going to be an a-hole by making this, or intend to "flame" anyone. This applies mostly to role playing servers

So, recently, I've been looking around in the server advertisements section. Most of these servers are small communities, because why do big servers need to advertise when they already have players? Anyway, the best way advertisers in that section try to get players is offering them money in the game, a house, a car, a coupon, admin privileges, etc. Let's get started by preventing these "n00b ways."
Bribing/Spoiling:
When you use cheat codes in a game, you can see that it kind of gets boring, it takes away whatever challenges there are, this is like when you offer someone in your server money, a car, and a house. This makes it boring. "Well, I have a house, money, a car, and admin, but so does everyone else." This little quote from someone's mind leads to the conclusion that no one will come back to your server. Here is my point: don't spoil your members, make it funner for them by telling them to earn their stuff. These people obviously live a life where getting things is easy, and earning things is unusual.
Admin:
Someone whom I don't remember on this site said something like, "Being admin is a duty." Though this can be debated, it is also true. Being an admin is a duty. You have to watch over your players, and make sure they don't do stupid stuff like hacking, deathmatching, money farming, or break any other rules your server has. If your admin or you don't watch over your players, they're bound to break the rules, causing someone to report them, and you not noticing the report due to the fact that you could be alt tabbed, AFK, or just busy doing something else. The person who is reporting might spam /report, causing you to notice, then get mad because he's spamming, and then banning him. This is why you should have mature, not annoying, smart admins. Example of a bad admin:
This is annoying, unmature, and not smart. Ban this kid.
Script/Players/Community:
As said once before by someone else whom I don't know or remember what they exactly said, "Getting people to play on your script is harder than finding or creating a good script." Your script really doesn't matter, unless it's full of bugs, has no factions (roleplaying), and no simple commands if any at all, you get what I mean, right?, good because I'm moving on. If you have a decent script, even if it's GTA:RP, but a lot of players, your server is bound to win. Basically, your script does not matter, it's how many people play with it.
Roleplaying:
Since I'm a big roleplayer, and have a small good server, I will make a section about roleplaying. Role playing is taking the role of someone and playing them, like playing the role as a cop. If you don't know what I mean, ****** "role play." So, in your RPing server, it is good to have good roleplayers. Don't have people who mix OOC and IC (metagame.) Your best roleplayers should be admins, since they're the best to deal with situations about roleplaying. Most people like light RP, since you don't have to do, "/me pulls out a desert eagle from his waist side" everytime you pull out your gun on someone, but heavy roleplay can be fun aswell. If you have played single player, you've expierenced heavy roleplay. By this I mean in single players you have to eat, drink stuff, etc, just like in real life. In light RP, you usually don't have to do this. Almost every roleplaying server has the same rules, don't DM, don't car ram, etc, so getting banned for breaking a common roleplaying rule shouldn't be easy (unless you actually TRY to break it and get banned), if you're a decent roleplayer. Hacking is probaly the most common thing on a roleplaying server, and most small communities don't ban hackers, they just act like they didn't see it, this is because they don't want to remove an extra player from their server.
Please respond with suggestions, comments, or anything else you want me to add. Feel free to PM and flame me, but don't do it in this topic.
