I see a lot of people has this problem "My computer runs singleplayer and not SA-MP"

I have the same problem so I searched for it and it said "Download the downgrade patch" so I did. And I extracted and all that till it said "GTA SA has been downgraded to 1.0" or something.

So I started samp AND...

SINGLEPLAYER STARTED LIKE BEFORE!!!!!!!!!

Now WTF?!! I want to play samp!

Please give me some help! I already tried:

• downgrading
• reinstall samp
• renaming my GTA SA directory
• asking on IRC
• searching all over the damn web!
• searching in this forum

Please don't tell me to reinstall GTA SA because I bought a new CD today in the mall so that should NOT be a problem I guess

Try this...

Launch sa:mp > tools > settings >

and make sure that San Andreas Installation Location is correct.

It was in the old location before GTA san andreas didn't work!!!

i had the same problem, just remove GTA + SAMP and then reinstall them both

Hydraz is correct. I had the same problem and did this. It was fixed.

I Have still the same problem, even I re-installed GTA SA and SA:MP, put them both in the same folder, not working.
I think I am pretty good with computers, but this is a problem that i have been solved for 4 days. Getting ragequit soon .

i also have this particular problem
i have already
-downgraded
-reinstalled ( SA and SA:MP)
-checked that installation path is right

but it still loads the singleplayer
