I have tried everything for 2 days now. I have tried running it, saving it, turning my antivirus and firewall offf etc. All i get is a message that say norton found something blah blah blah that can damage my computer. 10 minutes ago i managed to squeeze a file called sa-mp-0.3a-install through, but when i try running it it won't load and i get a message saying that the file is unavailable or doesn't exist. This is really frustrating as i bought SA on PC because of mp. Any help please?

After you install SA-MP click the green and yellow gear button and set your file location.

If didn't work?
Go delete GTA_sa.set and make sure u have no cheats or mods on the game
To delete it go to : (C:\Users\*UserName*\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files)

I managed to download it from GTAinside, but i still cant play it. When i run, i just get thrown in to the regular gta sa. I have 4 cheats active on my save, does that affect anything?

No, it doesn't. You need to downgrade your copy of GTA San Andreas (if you haven't already).
