So, what's your favorite city for roleplaying and why?
Personally, mine is Las Venturas. There's plenty of open space and alot of places to map in some shady areas as well.

Las Venturas - because of the casions, other business opportunities and Mafia activity (in SP), but it's not bad if you try to create your own city.

I really really think that if you "change" a bit the map by adding objects you can totally change its style and you can make it like a whole new nice city, it's also most unique.

SF is the best city to Roleplay. There are some spots you can roleplay a mafia and some gangs. I find LS is too wide and unless you have a big player base, if you dont, it'll take for ever to find someone. LV is also a good place to Roleplay because of the casinos and all the hot spots. The best city all depends on what type of roleplay you wanna do. If you want to be mainly a gang roleplay server, then LS is the place. If you wanna roleplay a mafia, LV is the best and SF is just to rp a normal life.

I personally think that San Fierro is the best one, followed by Los Santos. I wouldn't roleplay in LV because there's not that much to do, it's really only casinos.

I'd say San Fierro, then Las Venturas as long as there's enough to do. Los Santos is overused for roleplaying and gets boring.

To be honest, it's about what you have in your RP scripts & not so much what city you use. For example I'm creating a RP that uses the entire map, but with great limitations which most of my code is focusing on LS. LS is over-used, yes, but offers more possibilities for my RP than in any other major city. Take the airport for example: It has ALOT of terminals and even 3 levels to use. 28 of those front entrance doors to be exact while the other 2 airports have but only a few...
But some of those previous suggestions are correct with the gangs, mafia & whatnot. If you're planning something small, then another city site might be more suitable for your RP scripts. So it's really up to the scripters which city best fits thier planned style of gameplay.

LS-> Too common already, almost every server usses LS for Roleplay.
LV-> Not bad, but you got to script too much there.
SF-> Perfect for everything.
