To update go to the menu on the top left > Help > About Go0gle Chrome > It should check if you have the latest version. I believe it's Version 69.0.3497.92 for the time I'm posting this.
Hope that helps, personally I like the new theme.

Holy shit that looks horrible. Glad mine hasn't updated yet, I've disabled automatic updates iirc.
After the update, it has become more responsive than before so I like it.

Guys this topic is not about Chrome RAM usage, it's the design of the new update.
You don't use a browser just because of RAM, there's a lot more to it.

The design is so cool. They want to use only one single design style in all their applications (search engine, browser, e-mail, etc.) However, I don't use it because G-company sends a lot of personal information to their servers.
