You should know how useful a .db file is. It's the only thing that helps in texture studio when .txt doesn't work.

I partly agree since the host doesn't seem to be very reliable, so you could argue to chose another host.
But there's certainly nothing wrong with sharing the database since it is the original source file and you won't have to import to edit it.

Of course, the best solution would be to offer the db file as download and also paste the exported code for those who do not want to edit/export it. That way everyone would be happy.

You open a properly exported .txt into texture studio, it will say "You aren't allowed to edit this map since you're not the author"
But .db is the database. So it loads up very well when .txt can fail
