This happened to me when I have 1000 screenshots (up to sa-mp-999.png), if that's the case for you aswell, try moving them somewhere else so it can start from 0 again.

The most common cause of this, is not running SA-MP as admin.
If you've done ANY compatibility changes to 'fix' anything, remove all of them. Set the launcher to run in admin mode.

Make Sure you have highest resolution. IDK why but Sometimes it doesnt work on my old computer if I dont set the game resolution same as my Screen resolution. Mine highest is 768p, could be more or less according to your display.
Goto GTA SA settings -> Display -> Advanced and change the resolution.

This was happening to me earlier, open GTA Folder, right click samp.exe and run as administrator. It'll fix the problem. If the problem still exists, then your Screens folder is probably full.

And you did nothing of what the rest of us suggested? One of which being the simplest, to simply run sa-mp as admin...

Change your resolution size to max, and try, this happen once to me and fixed it by changing the resolution of the game, so try it out.
