I need some simple translations please
#1

Anyone here speak another language, and mind translating a few phrases for me please? Basically any language, but I already have Czech and Potuguese (plus I tried doing Russian, but my Russian is far from good). There's only a few, so it shouldn't take very long at all for fluent speakers. I might release the translations, but will credit you if you want.

Thanks:

Edit: Now updated with more explanation of context for each one.

It really isn't. Have you seen the results it spits out? They are comprehensible, but far from accurate.

It's not always.

Also, I said "basically any language", but I do have a list of them that I want, and while many are in g00gle translate, some aren't. I just didn't bother specifying the list, because really any is good. Having said that, I did use it for individual words, just not whole phrases.

Where to send you over the translations?

EDIT: Russian + Hebrew

Without knowing the context of the phrase it's difficult to have an accurate translation, because we have a distinction between formal ("dare del lei" for work bosses, strangers) and informal ("dare del tu" for friends and stuff) situations.

e.g. Could you recommend a … ?
informal: Puoi consigliarmi un/una … ?
formal: Puт consigliarmi un/una … ?
I'd say in general assume formal unless it obviously isn't. But thanks.

It gives much better translations than gццgle. For german it translates your phrases almost exactly like I would do. Though theres only a handful of languages available yet.
No, thanks!

I think I need to set up a consensus system. I have a Portuguese version (though I spelt it wrong in the first post), which is slightly different to this one (it uses "Vocк" more, I don't know Portuguese, but I guess that's more formal (since French, Russian, Old English, and more, have the same T/V split)).

I'm sure your Russian is better than mine, but did you translate "Can I buy a drink?" (for myself), or "Can I buy you a drink?" (for someone else)? Only the fact that I know a little bit of Russian makes me wonder (and if I'm wrong, I've learned some more). All the other translations I can only assume are correct, so you were unlucky there... Otherwise, thanks!

Oh, that's embarrassing, I wrote "Can I drink", totally missed on that one!
I fixed it and added literal translation next to it.

I used a more natural translation. Who are you trying to target? I could adapt the transalation.
I've done an updated version, with more explanation and context:

I tweaked up some translations — literal translations wouldn't work, otherwise people would sound a bit retard, but I believe that applies to every language. Other than that, everything should be fine.
