.txd problem

hoi.

so i exported a .dff and a .col file from an .obj file with 3ds max then i created the .txd file with the workshop thingy. i tought everything is fine cuz i checked with kalcor's kdffgui and i saw the .dff and the .txd is okay. then, when in-game i wanna create the custom object my game just crashes.

Could be many things. What I'm gonna ask right off the bat is how many polys is that tower? Also don't you think 2048x2048 texture is a bit too high quality for SA? :P

the resolution of the texture is not even matter cuz i tried with 128x128, and other similiar resolutions.

This crash address doesn't seem object related, are you able to provide any more information to reproduce it?

Textures need to be compressed otherwise they won't load.

when i put the .dff and .txd files in to the folder and add the line to the artconfig the server is download the files but after that my game just crashes. if i remove the files my game is running completely fine.
