Hey ther,

i need a timeban command, so admins can use /timeban ID DAYS REASON, and the player will stay banned for these 3 days, after the 3 days are over he can join again. I tried it with a timer, but with a server crash the people are unbanned again. Unfortunately, I dont know how to do it else, can someone help?

I want my own system, thats why I wont use seifґs ban machine.

Maybe the script could write the tbanned IP to a file including the date and then look up the IP on every playerconnect, and compare it with the actual date.. dont know how to do that.

Filefunctions for the file saving n loading, strings to get the infos of you read file
and FloatFunctions to calculate the dates.
Tho you should add an own datesystem on your server so you can set the date +1 everyday

He asked for help, not for a script. Mo3: Write the date + time in a file and read the file when the player joins. The easiest way is calling the file PlayerName.ban.

Holy crap, Im new to that. Maybe I could manage to write in the files, but to read the IP and the date and compare them with the current date? Nevah..

Thatґs what Iґve tried before, dunno if it worked, since every player who joined after I banned a player for some days, got kicked without any reason..
