Reinstall VC++ Runtime, or your using a faulty version of gta_sa.exe. Probably because its cracked.

Try buying the game, or getting a better torrent.

Not to start a war here, I promise. Although to pickup a copy (disc) of San Andreas in good usable condition these days is tricky. No one sells it new, it's solely 2nd hand... and I lost mine a while back and brought 3 they were a mixture of versions so I wasn't sure what I was getting and the discs were damaged beyond my pristine standards, although they would all play I had issues with them. Now I know there is steam but it requires a lot more work to get running and I love my discs.

Disc Purchease 1 (Version 1.1):
Failed to install 3 or 4 times before installing.

Disc Purchease 2 (Version Unknown):
Corrupted audio, it would stutter wasn't sure why and at some points stop playing all together.

Disc Purchease 3 (Version 1.0):
Installer would run for around 30 minutes... no reason for it take that long.

I'm yet to find a decent disc that work properly and has no to very minor marks on it, but I've now given up on eBay etc. It's hard to find them in 2nd hand stores they mainly stock PS2 XBOX, and PS3 versions. The lnd time I saw it it was beaten to a plup anyway.

It's likely easier and quicker taking this into account to download and crack an illegal copy, as Take Two would never license this out to a Burn to Order company to allow you to get a new and flawless version.

That could be the fact that you were running the audio off the CD, as has been mentioned a few places, over time, and how to fix that.

Errm, Ever heard of steam? (yes you will have to downgrade ) Also Amazon sells it, so I really don't see your arguments stand point?

I got 3 copies of GTA SA, One Steam, One Via Amazon and one for PS2. They all work fine with audio, if you have audio issues, then I suggest redownloading / installing. I've only ever noticed issue with cracked version.
