Anyone have an idea on how to get new IM notifications on Android 6.0.1 working?

Notification settings on Skype is all on, app notifications for Skype in system settings is set to normal, battery optimizations for Skype is off. But I'm not being notified about any new instant messages.

Try;

1- Activate 'New Instant Messages' in your Settings -> Sound & Notifications.
2- Open 'Notification Apps' in your Settings -> Sound & Notifications and check if Skype in the list (The apps which is enabled to sent you a notifications).

Simply because everyone has Skype, I've only been using it for SA-MP related stuff all these years though to be honest.
