alright simply ill be running around for a little while and bam screen goes black and i get a message like this

Worst crash ever? It is just a simple crash, no permanent damage.

SA-MP crashes from time to time when things happends that SA-MP can't for example understand or deal with. It's nothing unusual, and it'll happend many times. If your crash is persistant (as to say, that you cannot start your game anymore or whatsoever), post back and tell us a bit more about it. =)

yeah ive had it for months, i miss the game.


a bit about it is easy

im playing normally driving down the strip in Las Ventuarus or simply anywhere on the game and my screen will go completey black forcing me to turn my computer off, and while its black screen the noise of the car repeats.

I've experienced this crash before. Although since I've been running GTA SA off my new laptop with better specs that can run GTA IV I haven't noticed it. On my old laptop I had to run the game on the lowest settings and this is when I remember having this problem.

It could be weak PC specs and you may just not have decent hardware to run the game effectively. If you experience this crash when it turns black, everything freezes, and the sound repeats, I would try Control + Alt + Delete and end the task via Task Manager. It is more efficient in your situation to go to the Process tab in Task Manager and locate process, "gta_sa.exe" and select it, then click End Task and hit "Yes" for confirmation.

If you are not able to even get to Task Manager when you get this crash....then that sucks. This happens to me every now and then in GTA IV. It will crash and I won't even be able to open Task Manager to terminate the process and have to hard boot.
