Advertising your server and Hosted Tab both play a main role in getting more players. Also, your script must be unique so players will enjoy it. It's pointless to use an already existing script from other server because players will think " Why should I join xDevilx's server when it's same like Lucky13's, just that I have a house, million $$$ and a car on Lucky13's and nothing on xDevilx's.." ( it was just an example )

Hosted Tab plays a key role, but having a handful of friends that will go on your server no matter how many players you have is good too.

Even those servers, who are on the hosted tab - are empty. So yeah, people want to see something new/unique, not what they have already seen before. It's sad, because it was a waste of those 20 bucks.

Don't start a server with an edited script. Create your own if you want to show something unique.

2. Advertise your shit on SA:MP forums (place a link to your website in your signature) and spam the hell outta forums so even more people see it xD
3. When you place an ad on SA:MP forums, let us know why is your server so special, what will we get that we dont get on other servers.
