How much will my playerbase increase after buying a hosted tab?

Hey,

I'm purchasing a hosted tab listing very soon. How many players will my server increase by (estimate) if I have my server on the hosted tab.. Like will it be a fairly noticeable difference? Is it work it?

Thanks!

You'll notice a trickle of players if your server name, and gamemode text draws the user's attention (or hits search results). There's a lot of servers (like 350+) on the Hoisted tab.

If your gamemode is interesting, and fun to play then you'll probably gather a small crowd I would say

There isnt a set limit, it can triple, double or not even move.
Best idea is to just do it and wait and watch.

If you have got what it takes to get players then your server will be crowded.
Hire professional staff, set up a fun and enjoyable gamemode. Hosted tab may or may not increase the playerbase as it depend on the players. However, I would say that WITH hosted tab, advertise your server on other social sites in order to get players.

Hosted Tab doesn't increase playerbase, your gamemode does, all Hosted Tab does is put your server out there, so you might get 100 players one day, that doesn't mean you'll get 100 players the next day. If your gamemode is fun and challenging, you will definitely notice a difference in the playerbase.

Depends upon how good and unique your gamemode is..

Maybe you get a certain amount of players, but those are mainly players looking for a good server to play on, meaning that if your gamemode is shit and you buy hosting tab it has almost no permanent effect. So don't buy hosting tab just because you think it would boost your playerbase without any effort.

It all depends on how you conduct the server. If a player likes what they see, they will come. The hard part really is to keep them coming back, you always need be thinking outside the box and updating the server, etc.
