Where are you needing this translated? Are you converting a gamemode from another language, or you are going for players chats being translated?

Translating gamemode, possible, but lots of (manual) work. Translating Players chat, I don't think anyone has actually done that, from the server end.

Whilst if you search you'll find a player, translating his text and sending it via AutoHotKey, then retrieving the chatlog.txt output and translating it back to the player, it seems old, and unreliable.

I think he means to say that it looks like total gibberish. I apparently don't have the Chinese/Japanese character set installed either and to me it appears as gibberish as well. Or the forum just can't display it properly.

It does look terrible when you don't have the multi-languages installed in your windows.

I had this happen one time when I was messing about. Had a windows install that installed all of them without me knowing.

Looked awesome, and really, Windows, in this day and age should have them all installed so you don't see the big old blocks and incoherent characters.


Though, I'm still sure he's wanting to translate them...

Yes I want to translate, but not ****** translate, or knows the language to translate from it.
