Edit: I've tried one time getting in the game after the PC wasnt used for a couple of hours - where it didnt work before i turned it off. But that should just be random i think. But the one time i got in my graphics messed up (The shadow thing, where it all gets really pixelated and dark). I used Windows 2000..

Does SA support win 98? DO you have mods installed?

I don't have installed any mods, no ...
When i played back in the days i had to make the Windows 98 in properties :P
- I have managed to get it to work before in Windows 2000, but it doesnt seem to anymore.. And whenever i get it to work, then when i go out and find a new server.. It doesnt start.. :/

xp just rules n is compatible with almost all games only get's problems with sum new games

He does have Windows XP, look at the screenshots.

Anyway, SA-MP can be funny sometimes, it took me several different tries to finally make it work. Everything looks fine on your end, to me anyway, so I'm not sure if I can help you, my apologies

Well I've tried pretty much all the compatibility options, re-installing GTA SA, re-installing SA-MP, deleting the GTA-SA.set or whatever, and tons of other things which I can't remember. It's weird, some things work for some but don't work for others. On Windows XP, I'm pretty sure I ran it to run as Windows 98 or Windows 2000 and it worked.

You dont need to set compability if you run Windows XP.
