[Potassium]

Anyone know why 0x72808C8D happens when trying to load a server? I have tried reinstalling, deleting the settings file, changing the directory/name, switching to the Steam version with a clean install of SA-MP, changing permissions, changing compatibility - pretty much everything that anyone has ever suggested on here.

EDIT: Fixed by restarting my PC. Not sure what the issue was, but this has solved it.

Hi! I had this error ''exception at adress'' with the new version of SAMP. The thing that fixed it was to uncheck ''run this program in compability mode for windows xp'', ''disable visual themes'', ''disable display scaling on high DPI settings'' and ''run this program as an administrator''. I didn't yet try if it works with mods also but at least without.

The exception hex code is what will be needed, but you should also list the info requested in the thread below.

In that thread if you could include any information of events, or things you did that led up to this. Such as if it had worked at all (GTASA or SAMP), whether you had mods before, and how you installed the game (From a clean install, or a copied installed folder).

Hope some of this may help out.

With Compatibility settings, using them simply avoids the real problem. It's not actually a fix. You should almost avoid using compatibility settings if possible.
