Now its not working, I don't have any mods or hacks/cleo installed. My GTA is 100 percent clean but whenever I click "Connect" for the first time nothing happens, then when I click it again I get a Crash Message!

Try deleting your San Andreas User Files folder in your My Documents folder, this use to happen to me all the time. It's the folder being corrupted.

Just delete gta_sa.set in the folder mentioned above^

Read the first row of the table in this thread. Your problem is SA-MP is not initializing.
Try reinstalling GTA and SAMP, and make sure you don't have any mods that can cause the crash.
