Most of the remaining few scripters working for money charge per script. Starting at a few dollars for small stuff, going up to several hundreds.
I usually wouldnt work for less than 15$/hour. To get quality work you need quality scripters. And professional-grade scripters wouldnt work online, whhen they could earn twice the money for the same job offline. Those guys offering to create a roleplay script for 50$ surely dont know what theyre talking about. Thats 100+ hours of work when done properly, and no serious guy would work for 50 cents an hour.

I'd say about no less than $8 an hour for a decent scripter. There is no way of telling how many hours your scripter has put in the script for you, so paying a constant weekly or even monthly pay to someone would be the best idea.

I wouldn't pay a scripter, because they can take all the time in the world and delay the process and you can end up paying them more. Here is two ways,

1) You pay them by functions and features, or ....

You learn to script for yourself and save the money and get to learn something

It's not about money. we're here to learn more knowledge. "Don't be evil", money can be found in anytime, anywhere. better you help peoples rather than asking for payment. once again, If you always asking for payment it'll buy a little bit of happiness.

Sure, for small stuff.

But better dont try finding someone to script your new roleplay gamemode. The only ones who would eventually do that for free are those who want to be admins or coowners as reward. And I guess I dont need to mention what kind of scripts such people produce.
Sure theres a chance to get people work with you for free just because they like your idea, or "join the team", but thats not what this is about. Thats not the common way to get scripting support when youre unable to do it yourself.
