I would have to suggest OVH, it has always handled my ex-servers very well. They have like routed 500gb/s ddos protection, and also automated systems that send you emails when an attack has started, and ended etc.

I suggest you to try a VPS as the others above did. OVH is really good, however, if you have a limited budget, you can rent a very powerfull VPS from www.contabo.com.
