Also does crash happen in disc version of SA ?(you only stated copying the audio files)

Well this problem seems very similar to mine, because when my game crashes, it on,y says it has stopped responding and does not give me an error log. I'll just ask here.

Have you solved this problem, or not? If so, how did you solve it in the end?

Hi there,

Pretty much got the same problem, whether I have mods or not the game keeps crashing around fifty percent when I enter a vehicle. I've turned off my radio in the GTA SA settings just incase the audio was causing the issue. I believe it's related to when your radio automatically switches to the built-in radios.

Has anyone had luck with fixing this?

When I used the steam version for GTA San Andreas, I had the same vehicle problems.
A friend of mine helped me by giving me this link:

Replace the audio folder with this one and it'll be fixed. trust me.

Try this; Rename the GTA San Andreas directory.
Windows caches game files ,maybe one of them got corrupt in the pagefile, this will cause everything to rebuffer.

(Sometimes when you mod you can encounter the problem where gta3.img stays the same no matter what you do to it, replace it w/e mods doesn't go away. Then this is the solution).

This worked perfectly for me, no crashes or anything. It seems you need an old audio folder to fix this, thanks very much!
