No they don't, most of them require you to contact an admin and the admin has to give your perks manually.

Probably cause there are more scammers on SA-MP, I myself will be using an automated donation system. I used to play a server that also had an automated donation system.

It's a bit hard to make an automated donation system, that's probably why.

It's very hard. We're talking about online transactions here, it's not something you want to mess up.

This isn't true at all. I don't know where you got this from, but it isn't true! Most small servers don't have something like this, either because they just don't deem it being necessary or because they lack the experience / developmental skill to create such a system.

Well.. Maybe I am lucky... I never found/joined a server that had a manual subscription system.. No one would even buy it :P.

Well; SA-RP(kindof a large server, you can say) doesn't have a fully automated shop to my knowledge(though they may have just gotten one, it is semi automated atleast) used to have a pretty manual system and people still bought.

Same with other servers, including NG:RP a few years ago before they created an automated system for making purchases and "donations".

The silliest part of a donation however is that you are not donating, - you are merely paying in exchange for a service or good which is typically a VIP service with special perks and recognition.

Well.. Maybe I got you wrong guys..

You mean with "automated" that it activates the VIP IG automatically ?
If yes.. Then you are true, All servers doesn't have that :P.

You have to post in some forum and then an admin activates it.

It's not that hard, my community that I won't name as it.

Have a CP, code in a dynamic system and have paypal API work with the shop. Once you do that, code some MYSQL stuff in the server script, that connected to the shop and gives the person the items once the payment is approved.

You just need php knowledge and MYSQL. Make sure test the system for any bugs or exploits.

Donation is meant to be a gift. You all are talking about buying perks here. I don't think there is any SAMP server that actually gets donations; they are all selling IG advantages.

This. Last server to get Donations without perks was SARP(Before NGG took over.)
Now, everyone wants their server to be a 'One stop shop'.

Manually is more secure and less risk of issues.
