Well as of 5/25/15 i was running a server and its now gone and smartbytehosting's website no longer works. Does anyone know the status or did they close. im really confused and i just bought it and im pretty mad since i lost some profit i could use for a host that works.

http://smartbyteshosting.com/ works for me, they didn't close. Try unplugging and replugging in your router / modem / or whatever. Also, try emailing or calling their support for more assistance we can't really help with the matter as we aren't their support line.

It does seem the the billing domain isn't loading, in this case you should contact anyone that is staff on SmartBytes and ask for additional assistance. I don't think you can make a ticket since the client domain isn't working properly.

Maybe they firewalled you? Shady hosting company that lies. They're an incredibly unreliable hosting company, cheap, but uptime is only like 55%

Yeah, shady as fuck. I'm with vortex now, but 5$ wasted on smartbytes. they charged me for two servers when i ordered one, and now ever since that, i cant get on the host so i cant cancel anything so im just going to be stuck in there trap of paying 5.25$ every month
