Hi,
If someone DDoS my server, the attack will slow/stop only the server or this will slow both the server and my internet connection?

The DDoS attack will take down the internet connection of the device on which you host your server, as it's a network attack. If you host your gameserver at home, it will probably take you offline, depends of your Internet Service Provider, though.

Of course it will slow down everything related to your internet. It's like you're saying: If I do not have an internet connection, can someone DDoS me?
P.S: Kapersky is the DDoS master.

Hence why there is such a thing as "DDoS Protection"?

But If I close the server, the attack on my internet will stop or not?

The machine hosting the server will be effected regardless if the SA-MP application has been closed.

Even if you terminate the samp server, the DDoS attack will continue as they attack your internet connection.
Your home-connection has even less bandwidth compared to real server companies, so it will completely disable your internet, you won't be able to browse anything or even access your email as long as the DDoS attack is going on.
It will only stop when you disconnect your modem from the internet, and hopefully, after connecting it again, you get a new IP address from your provider.
If not, the attack may continue again.
DDoS = Distributed Denial of Service.
The hacker gained control of several hundred or perhaps thousands of computers by infecting them with a virus or something similar.
Upon his command, all infected computers will send massive data to your internet connection (your IP).
Your modem will choke on it and will shutdown in the worst case.
If your modem doesn't shutdown, your internet connection will either be extremely slow, or non-existant.
Shutting down the samp server will NOT help at all, because they don't send data to the samp server, but to your IP in general.
If you have several computers, laptops, tablets at home, all connected to the same network and modem, none of these devices will be able to connect to the internet anymore.
That's the reason why home-hosting is dangerous.
Server companies have better equipment to handle such an attack, you don't.

If your server is in the same network you are in, then you will go offline if the attack is larger than what your network port can take in.
