Can't load game at like 90%
#1

I reinstalled San Andreas (from disc) and SA-MP, Re-downgraded my GTA to 1.0 but my game is constantly crashing when the game loads up with this op code -

How can I fix it because it's driving me crazy now

I've encountered this issue recently.

1. Try to run both SA-MP Client and GTA SA as administrator. (Edit the Proprieties)
2.Try to change your GTA SA's compatibility to Windows 98 / Me. (Still from Proprieties)

What's the new crash message, or is it simply crashing with no message?

Have you got the original CD/DVD to install from? (Delete the folder when you are re-installing too, some files hide very well.)

What OS you got too?

I uninstalled it & deleted the GTA folder again, but I'm trying to find another downgrader to use as the one before automatically installed GTA Img tool aswell

The one here - https://sampforum.blast.hk/showthread.php?tid=41141 doesn't seem to be working anymore

Yuck Steam version...

Try that though, check gta_sa.exe isn't running already in task manager.

Oh I don't have a steam version anymore

I have the disc

& yeah there's no GTA_SA in there, But I need to find a new downgrader ;p

Edit: oh there's a patch on sa-mp, I'll try that

Edit 2: the patch from sa-mp says " Can not open file 'C:\Users\*******\Downloads\gtasapatch.zip' as archive

Alright, Start over...

Un-install everything (SA-MP/GTA SA) and start over.

Delete the folders that were used, and run through again with a clean slate.

Do you know what version you do indeed have?

With what I quoted was more about Alt-Ctrl-Del and making sure the exe wasn't running in the task manager. It's not really about the rest of the thread.

If you have the game installed, clean, it'll say in the bottom corners in the options menu, or in the game menu when you start it up in single player.

If you're incredibly lucky to have Version 1, then you're in a perfect position. Other versions not so much, but you're well ahead of the steam version if you have the disks...

I have V2.00

Ok, You do need the 2.0 downgrade patch.

Have you got AV installed? (Could be a wise idea to disable whilst installing everything)

Run the downgrade patch as admin, and follow that with the samp installer as admin too.

http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/...er_Patch;74661

Then we'll see what error you get after that.

(You did delete the folder that the game was in before re-installing it right?)
