For some reason, the commands are not being processed whatsoever. I tried every command nothing works. But the chat works fine. Server is hosted at SmartBytesHosting (Maybe this is why)

Where did you get the idea that being with a certain host will cause issues to your gamemode? The only possible difference a host can do to your gamemode compared to locally is possibility OS difference which only involves plugins and server settings, has nothing to do with your commands or gamemode or fliterscripts.


Anyways do you have any plugins? As asked is your commands working locally? If no than you need to provide the commands you're attempting to try and whatever functions are linked towards it.

the server on the host is windows. my pc is windows. Localhost works fine. Same plugins as host. Same things. All the same. Still doesnt work with smartbytes.

He can't use commands, what's MAX_PLAYERS gonna help?

Anyways, make sure your server.cfg includes all your same plugins, and that you have up to date plugins.
Otherwise you can try to contact your host.

I had the exact same problem while switching to a Linux based server, commands weren't processing, everything was bugged and the server just didn't want to work how it does on a Windows based server, that fixed it.

I asked for Mione's assistance, but unfortunately he couldn't figure out what was going wrong. I then started to explore and fool around, and then I found a solution, at least for my server.
