Well, recently my place got broken into, they took basically electronics. I wouldn't be asking here if I wasn't out of options, but is there any way to trace a laptop, phone with no data plan, or wifi-only tablet?
They're probably all turned off, as for the laptop it's definitely off, I tried getting the IP through the antivirus (Avast), but since it's off, the last IP is my own.

Note: none of these devices have an anti-theft software

Simple, no. At least not without tracing software. Small chance the gov/police can help you, but that takes ages. Good luck mate!

The first thing they do is 'Remove sim card', If you're lucky enough, Just go to police and ask them the last location known, Go there and try something.

If they are synced with your ****** account, you could check on your ****** dashboarf.

Contact your sim card provider, and tell him to disable your number. And, forgot about your device.

the only way you;d have a chance on the wi-fi devices, so far as I can tell:

If there is ANY service that either of those devices would automatically log into, or check in with...AND if you can get the devices new IP when it does log/check in (aka you'd need access to any form of connection log) you might be able to find its general-ish area. If you use a mail service that lets you see activity (gmail does, I dont know about others) with the IP of recent connections, you can put that IP here: https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-demo

In the GeoIP2 results box, you may see GPS coordinates. I assume these could vary wildly, but using my own IP it returned the GPS coords for the last router in the link to my house. Test may be a bit skewed as I get my internet via 2.4GHz link to a 250' radio tower thats 7 miles away from me. The GPS returned were the coords to the radio tower.

So, if you use any service that 1) the devices would sign into on their own and 2) you can see the IP used while the devices are stolen...you may be able to narrow down the location, but not to the thieves front door.
