Starting an online blog
#1

Hello, SA-MP friends. I have some good news to announce today. I am starting a newspaper on the SA-MP forums (here), and I will tell you how I will organize it and what it will be about...

So firstly, I will make a master list of all my reviews and categorize them in one post, with links to the reviews in another post. Then, when I create more reviews, they will just be edited into the master list and so on & so forth. I think this idea will be good, for players mainly looking to get into roleplaying and learning the rules of roleplay. The reviews will mainly be on roleplay servers, but I will eventually introduce TDM/DM servers and freeroams. What do you think?

Hmm sounds interesting thought! good luck!

Personally I think you should give (or try to give) equal billing to all types of modes, rather than focus mainly on RP servers. You'll have a wider variety of readers that way IMHO

most if not all blogging software use tags, why not just use them instead?

Alright, good idea. I just figured I'd start off with roleplay servers, then go onto other gamemodes.

Sure, try that if you like, at the very least the owners of the servers you reviewed will be happy.
But you shouldnt do that here on the forum, as its some kind of advertisement, and even if youre not related to the tested server you cant post that here. Rather get some simple webhost and set up a real blog, thats much more useful than using forum posts anyways.

Been years since I saw ".tk", still makes me cringe.

As cessil said its not detailed at all. The review... I can't even call it a review at all.
