After re-install of GTA:Sa, old GTA3.img is being used
#1

I don't know what's going on, but I had problems with my GTA:Sa so I re-installed GTA:Sa. Now, I play GTA:Sa and because of some old mods I had, my game will stuck. I downloaded a pure gta3.img and pasted it, I still got the old mods. I re-installed GTA:Sa in other directory, STILL old mods are there. I don't know what's up with this.. It looks like cache but I don't think that cache on PC even exists..

EDIT: I deleted my gta3.img file and tried to open the game. Guess what? The game will open correctly.

This happend to me too, i dont know why something like in Cache & Registry saving the old game directory + statistics. I just delete gta3.img with GTA:SA Crazy IMG Tool and install a clean gta3.img and works perfect.
Still didn't figure out why it's saving in cache & registry the old statistics of GTA:SA directory.

If you do intend on installing mods, Use Modloader, it allows you to mod your GTA w/o needing to even touch gta3.img yourself. It's SA:MP compatible as I use it all the time. (Link)

Browse to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore (copy-paste in the address bar of your Windows explorer) and delete anything related to GTA SA.

This is because you're installing it to the same directory. I've had SO MANY people come to me with this problem. Change the directory, and bam.

Right click on samp, open containing folder (or whaterver, you need to find lication of sa-mp.exe file)
Delete everything, make clean install of SA, after that install SAMP.
