Well it all happened instantly. My Avast virus database was updated and then it moved samp-server.exe to the vault saying that it was a Win32:Malware-gen. Is it just me or?

It is only for you , I guess.
I scanned the samp server folder with my avast

If you downloaded the server from here theres absolutely no problem.
Virus scanners are heuristic scanners so its absolutely normal that there are false alarms.

I also get that type of problem when i downloaded a new Gamemode. I just fixed by adding new samp-server.exe from a svr package and its fine.

are you loading the exe from a gamemode release ? I know some people release gamemodes along with SA-MP files.
