Posting this for my friend, he cant connect to any samp server it just says "Connecting to server" and dosnt connect, On EVERY server.

He has tried turning his firewall off and it still doesnt work. He can connect to skype internet etc but cant connect to any samp server.

There must be a version difference between his computer's SA-MP version and Server's SA-MP Version.

Install Check our here for latest 0.3z version. It's the latest one.

I recommend [0.3z].

He already has 0.3z but it still dosnt let him join..

Tell him to look at the top of the SA-MP window and verify that it says 0.3z. Other than that, it may potentially be on a network that filters traffic.

If you read the first post you will see that he already tried that.

Okay well I had this problem too, all I did was go to my GTA SA folder (Just right click on SAMP or GTASA and click open file location) then right click on GTASA and SAMP > Properties > Compatibilty > Check Run As Administrator and Run IN Compatibilty Mode for windows 98/Windows me.

What network is he on - home, school, or what?

Does he live in one of the countries that SA-MP is banned in? Pakistan is one of them, not sure of the others.

As he told me, His samp started working again, Then it stopped letting him on server again.

you can try a vpn

Tell him to Use HotSpotShield VPN (HSS) many players from Pakistan and other countries cant join samp but now they are using HSS now they can join any tell him

It's just a guessing game unless some kind of logs are posted. I'd start with a tracert of a few IP's that he can't connect to.
