So I accidentally forgot to change my hosting plan and now I got a powerful VPS for one more year.
What to do with it in that time? Well, Im not asking for an answer, I already know what Im gonna use it for. Though, Im too lazy to finish my earlier automatic hosting panel right now, so besides my common use for small server applications and cloud server, I just decided to host some unmanaged samp server.
Yep, unmanaged. No panel access, no FTP access (ok, ftp access could be set up if needed), you send me your server files, Ill start it, and you do whatever you like. I just wanna use some more of the VPS's power immediatelly, for my own current needs I could have switched to a weaker one just costing 1/4 of what Im currently paying.
Why shouldnt you just use one of the free hosters that come with a comfortable panel and full access? Ive got no idea.
The VPS is located in Germany and has a low-ping high-speed connection, pretty good homemade protection against single attacker dos attacks. MySQL available, CentOS 6, 100 slots max.
No uptime or support guarantees given, except the obligatory promise that Im really not interested in stealing anyones work.
Whoever wants that server should be registered here for at least a year and should present his gamemode in a nice post. Put some effort in that, the way you present it quite probably is the main aspect I consider when choosing one. I dont want boring edits or redundant gamemodes (RP), nor testservers (except in a beta-like, advanced state) but something that actually drags some players, if the server is empty for ages Ill rather host another one.
Posts ignoring one of these requirements will also be ignored by me, no exceptions, not even by spamming my inbox with crymail.
Ill wait for applications for a while, then just pick the best one, or incase there are several nice servers Ill add a poll and let the forum decide.
