An optional lag compensation mode improves sync accuracy.

Can someone explain how I can activate this mode and what exactly it does?

to active it add to server.cfg
shotcompmode 1 or 2 or 0
Setting this to 0 (default) will disable joypad auto-aiming and shooting will be lag compensated. Setting it to 2 will enable 'legacy mode' which will disable lag compensation (meaning players have to lead aim) and joypad auto-aim will be enabled. Setting 1 is for debugging purposes, and only the player's position will be lag compensated, not their rotation.
When lag com is on players cannot use joypad and they get damaged in the body without doing lag shot...
When lagcom is off players need to do lag shot to hit eachother

Its a new function added in 0.3z it is like when you turn it off you get lag shoots like in 0.3x.
As you may have seen in some servers (0.3z) There's lagcomp on/off.
When the :-
Lag compensation mode is ON - Lead-Aim is OFF
Lag compensation mode is OFF - Lead-Aim is ON

		Thanks man!
EDIT: Does this affect server performance?

		It's automatically activated by default.
It improves sync so 'high-pingers' are able to be shot as easy as 'low-pingers'. Without it people with a high ping had to be shot at their actual position when lagging, rather than where they appeared to be on other peoples screen.
EDIT: It does not affect server performance.
