I have no idea why I get the error below, don't know if it's because of Windows 8, but does anyone know how to fix it?

That's not because you're on Windows 8
The file is corrupted/damaged or not entirely download, or i don't know
Try downloading the same file but with .tar.gz extension, or something else

You probably downloaded a corrupt file.

Windows 8 does not cause the problem just like Kilou said.

Thanks it works now, for some reason it doesn't work with the one from the Download section in sa-mp.com

They might just need to update there files.
